Aaron J. Turner

Aaron J. Turner, a native of North Carolina, graduated summa cum laude with a B.A. in psychology and a minor in philosophy from Georgia State University. Mr. Turner earned his law degree from the University of Baltimore School of Law in 2007, where he served as a staff editor and associate comments editor on the University of Baltimore Law Review. After graduating cum laude, Mr. Turner attended Georgetown University Law Center, where he earned an LL.M. with distinction in Securities and Financial Regulation. Mr. Turner then served as law clerk for the Honorable Michael J. Finifter in the Circuit Court for Baltimore County, where he gained invaluable trial court experience in both criminal and civil matters. Mr. Turner joined the litigation department of LEVIN GANN PA in 2009.
Mr. Turner’s practice includes commercial and consumer litigation. He has represented clients in disputes involving, among other things, construction, land use and zoning, the Uniform Commercial Code, the Maryland Homeowners Association Act, the Maryland Contract Lien Act, the Maryland Consumer Protection Act, and the Maryland Home Improvement Law.
As counsel in numerous disputes involving automobile sales, Mr. Turner has significant experience in representation of licensed automobile dealerships and related finance companies. He has also acted as counsel for Maryland State Inspection Stations in disputes involving the Maryland Automotive Enforcement Division.
Mr. Turner is often involved in employment matters, contract disputes, and shareholder controversies. Among other matters, he has represented a franchisee of a national financial planner in an arbitration proceeding, and has acted as co-counsel in litigation involving the design and manufacture of a medical device. Mr. Turner has handled numerous commercial and residential landlord-tenant matters and has been involved in litigation concerning the Maryland Fair Housing Act and its federal analog. Mr. Turner has also represented clients in numerous premises liability, personal injury, and other tort matters.
Mr. Turner has been involved in numerous appellate cases, and has argued cases before the Court of Special Appeals of Maryland. He has also been involved in numerous matters in the U.S. District Court for the District of Maryland and the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Maryland.
