David Schabes

David Schabes joined Levin Gann PA in May, 2023. David’s practice focuses on the areas of trusts and estates, tax, business succession, and transactional work. He frequently advises clients on transferring wealth to the next generation in a practical and tax efficient manner. He is admitted to practice in Maryland and Washington, D.C.
David is originally from Baltimore. He earned a J.D. and an LL.M. in Taxation from Georgetown University Law Center, and was awarded the Thomas Bradbury Chetwood, S.J. Prize for attaining the highest academic average in his LL.M. graduating class. Previously, David interned for The Honorable L. Paige Marvel of the United States Tax Court, worked in the corporate tax department of the Washington D.C. office of an Am Law 100 law firm, and was a member of a highly regarded trusts and estates law firm in Baltimore.
