History
For more than a century, Levin & Gann, P.A., now known as LEVIN GANN PA, has developed and maintained a stellar reputation as a top-tier, full service law firm in Maryland. Our clients are as diverse as they are plentiful, encompassing businesses and enterprises of all levels; not-for-profit organizations; estates and trusts; and individuals. With personalized attention, creativity, and aggressive pursuit of our clients’ needs and goals, we consistently exceed expectations.
Our founder, the late, esteemed Ellis Levin (1893-1960), was admitted to the Maryland Bar in 1915 as a 20-year-old immigrant from Russia. Levin reached the admission age of practice eligibility the following year, and his criminal defense acumen yielded immediate success and practice growth. Levin’s son Calman (Cal) Levin, and his son-in-law Stanford Gann, Sr., joined the practice in the 1950s, and with them brought a passion for civil law that expanded the law firm’s focus.
With the passage of time came an increase in talented lawyers and client diversity, so while we are still committed experts in Criminal Law, our attorneys also enthusiastically tackle cases in Corporate & Business Law; Family Law; Litigation; Real Estate Law; Tax Law; Wills, Trusts & Estate Law; and more.
Staying true to our long and esteemed history, we bring expertise and commitment to our diverse and continuously expanding client base. No case is too large or too small for LEVIN GANN PA. Contact us today to find out how we can help you.
